The day a movement against leaked papers reached the gates of the Vidhan Sabha.

What happened

On 10 August 2026, the seventeenth day of a movement against leaked recruitment-exam papers, thousands of students marched from Jaipal Singh Munda Stadium towards the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly in Ranchi. They broke through police barricades and were met with water cannon, tear gas and a lathi charge.
